I've been thinking for a while that the SAK scales could also be designed to strike matches on.
The checkered pattern can also be seen on the brass match cases.
The SAK that i suspect is the Alox, which first came onto the market in 1961.
At that time there were also many kind of mostly brass matchcases with a similar pattern as a match striker.
That idea has been playing trough my mind all this time, but I can't find any evidence for it.
Am I telling myself something,by looking at...
SAK scales are they match strikers?
