I’ve been lacking in my depth of fire making skills. Usually just use a lighter or Ferro rod. Recently was gifted a flint and steel set and have learned how to make fire that way. But never had tried friction fire. Watched several videos, read tutorials here, and figured I needed to give it a go. I picked cedar for spindle and hearth board.
