We have a no burning notice occasionally. I enjoy sitting by a fire, even in my yard, so I fought back this year. I found a big fish tank at the transfer station. The tank may or may not hold water, that doesn't matter to me. I filled it with a layer of peastones, found some candles and some driftwood, a carved shorebird and shells, and made myself a little piece of the beech. I was amazed how much light it throws, and the wind does not blow the candles out. It is more or less a giant...
