In the last 30 years, I have lit many Many MANY fires, and I really can't recall the last time I actually used a Match.
As with many, if not most of the skills we practice, being able to light a fire in different ways - depending on what we have available - is of course important .. But, when putting together a PSK, or basic items to carry along into the woods, Why would one use a wooden match, when they could use a Bic lighter? ..
