I found an interesting item to use as a farro rod striker.

I did not buy it to be a striker. Someone posted an Ozark Trails survival kit and the kit had one in it. The teeth are kind of useless as a spork, but spoon is OK.

So, I saw it on sale and decided to satisfy my curiosity. I did not read the ad closely and I did not realize till it arrived today that the blade guard is a whistle. And it is a fairly decent whistle. It came with some cord but there is no particular place for the cord...
