Do They Strike Anywhere?

I'm done with these and changing the name to the above title. On the new box's unused striking strip, I was able to light the first one and missed all these. I have no idea if strikes on anything else would have been successful, but I tend to doubt it. I'll use these up on non-critical things, but they are coming out of all my emergency fire kits. I did get the 10th to light so 80% failure rate.
