The goal of this thread is to encourage regular practice with your ferro rod, using different techniques, tinders, etc.
Start where ever you are, and build up your skills. This isn't a competition with anyone (except yourself).
I'll get us started with one-handed, strong hand ignition of white pine shavings. Clearly I need to work more on my one-handed ferro rod use.
