Q-Tip Match

I'm sure others have done this but today it crossed my mind to try making a long burning "match" using Q-Tips. I used Q-Tip brand which are 100% cotton with paper sticks. This gives me another option for starting my twig stoves.

Using a double boiler setup I saturated them with paraffin.


Once they cooled I tested them.


I frayed the cotton on one end with the saw on my SAK.
