Best woods for bow drill fires in Denmark?

Hi everyone. My cousin in Denmark is leading a scouting trip and wants to demonstrate a bow drill. He doesn't have experience with the technique, so I'd like to suggest the best woods to start with. All my experience (which is extensive) is in Colorado, Utah, and Northern Wisconsin. Can someone suggest woods in this part of Europe to try?
