Mugwort as Tinder for Bow Drill

Last month at a survival training, I was given a “fluff” of dried and processed mugwort to use as a tinder in my bird nest. It worked like a champ so I went out and harvested some of my own. Brought it home and let it dry thinking that’s what I should do… but it turned into just powder when I tried to process it down (like any dried leaf).

So…. Anyone got experience with this stuff who can give some tips on how and when to break it down?
