Dung from grass-eating animals makes good tinder for a fresnel lens. You have to focus the light on one spot for a while until it gets hot enough to sustain itself as a coal. Then add the coal to your tinder bundle and blow into flame.
Only very rarely have I been able to ignite tinder directly without making a coal first.
In the first picture I used cow dung. In the past I have successfully used burro, deer and rabbit dung. coal first, then fire.
